How long should I stay in Korea?

For most procedures, we recommend staying in Korea for at least 12-14 days after surgery so that your swelling can subside before flying. This is both for your safety and your comfort.

Can you help me find an accommodation?

Absolutely! We have partnered with nearby hotels to give you a daily, fixed rate for the duration of your stay. It's best to know how long you are staying before booking, since accomodations tend to fill up quickly, and it may be difficult to extend your stay at the same hotel.

PROCEDURES

How can you not use implants for adding volume?

Silicone or other implants were used in the past. However, the disadvantages are becoming more apparent. One problem is the bone underneath becoming resorbed, making it thinner, eroding the bone, deforming the implant, and eventually making it uneven and weak. Our Art Volume Forehead Surgery only uses your own forehead fat, repositioning it, and creating volume. For so and so kind of surgery, we use goretex implants.

Do you do fat grafts or filler injections?

Although fat transplants and fillers are simple procedures, they present a number of problems. Fat grafts are often repeated since they become bumpy as they get absorbed; the bumps becoming worse over time. Filler injections are a simple procedure, but the filler is soft and flows downward, causing swelling around the eyes.

What does Local & Sleep Anesthesia mean?

For endoscopic upper face procedures , we use a combination of sleep sedation and local anesthesia. For lower face procedures that require bone-work, we use general anesthesia.

For patients taking surgery with local & sleep anesthesia, a simple meal can be eaten, up to 3 hours before arriving at the hospital. Drinking water is ok.
